Our Feedlot - 'Yambinya'

Our feedlot, 'Yambinya' is located just outside Wakool in New South Wales, 400 kilometres north of Melbourne's CBD. Wakool is situated in the heart of the Riverina district where cattle, rice, wool and wheat are the local economy's vital industries.

Overview

The 'Yambinya' property comprises 7,000 acres and holds a water licence for 5,000 megalitres per annum. The feedlot enables Tasman Group to produce high quality cattle to specification, where the feed management, induction, weight reporting, costings and conversion rates are closely monitored and recorded for each animal.

'Yambinya' also has an established extensive cropping program and irrigated pastures are used for backgrounding cattle.
